Summer is here, well almost, but getting ready for it is certainly on the agenda. Soon legs will be out under shorts and skirts, arms will be waving about in tanks during music festivals. It’s time to prep your limbs for some fun in the sun! (Don’t forget your SPF kids).
To slough off the winter I propose a 3 step routine.
Dry brush– grab a brush and go to town on all of your limbs, you’ll be getting rid of all of those dead skin cells *ewww* and stimulating the blood flow in your body. Go in upward stokes, or toward the centre of your body or if you’d like to combat cellulite go in circles in those areas. This feel seriously awesome right before a shower, it’s like a mini energising workout.
Exfoliate– once you’ve popped into your shower just scrub. I love a nice good smelling scrub that doesn’t make me feel like I’ve been rubbing sand onto my body – Soap & Glory make an awesome one! You can also DIY it with some Brown Sugar and Lemons though.
Moisturise– this is probably a must all year long, but come summer? Even more so. Since it’s summer you don’t want a heavy creamy butter so opt for a nice lotion or body milk. This Garnier offering is awesome and sinks right in while leaving the skin moisturised for a verrrrrrry long time.
