I may have made a sneaky BodyShop order… okay so I did, and since I use a shipping forwarder to actually get all my orders I needed to pick the best of the best. So what did I get?
Raspberry Body Scrub which is a bit like rubbing jam all over your body to slough off all the dead skin, it smells super sweet and isn’t too harsh or so gentle that it doesn’t do the job. Is it my favourite scrub of all time? Nope, but it’s a nice one that I’ll use up.
Luxury Facial Flannel this thing is the greatest thing to happen to my face in a while. There, I said it. This isn’t just a regular flannel (that I have en mass occupying my bathroom cupboard) no siree! It’s made from what feels like a neoprene-y fabric and it’s so gentle on the skin is feels like your rubbing silk on it to remove other daily gunk off you face – if you find flannels too harsh for the eye area this is for you, if you just want to feel a little pampered while wiping off your cleanser this is also for you.
Peppermint Reviving Foot Soak oh my feet, poor things get shoved into heels (sorry, not sorry I’m short) or walked around the heat of Tel-Aviv in the summer in nothing but a flimsy pair of rubber flipflops to protect them. This results in tired, hurting feet. This foot soak? The solution. It smells super refreshing and obviously pepperminty which is a nice plus but best of all? Stick your tired aching feet in this for a little while at the end of the day and they’ll instantly feel better. It might be simply soaking your feet that’s doing the job, but I couldn’t care less as a little goes a long way and it does smell divine.
Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil I caved to the blogger hype and grabbed this guy. I haven’t cracked it out yet, since I’m reaching the end of a bottle of bioderma and my Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm is nearing it’s end too – I’d like to actually finish some products before opening new ones. I’ll report back, I promise – but word is that this is good at gently removing.
Got any Body Shop recommendations? Let me know what I should get next time!
