So after I praised the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade here I thought I’d run through a look that lets those eyebrows shine, with very subtle eyes and face – with a pop of colour on the lips.
Let’s start off with the major bit – no blush. Just a clean light base, making sure to cover all the blemishes and conceal under the eyes. I like to set it all with a light layer of the Hourglass ‘Diffused Light’ Ambient Lighting Powder, then I grab the Kevyn Aucoin ‘The Sculpting Powder in Medium’ and pop a bit under the cheekbones for a bit of definition making sure to blend well.
Face done I like to go in and do the brows; with the spooley I brush them out take a bit of the pomade on the brush running it first through the ‘tail’ of the brows and then with whatever is left on the brush lightly define the front of the brow. On to the eyes, I take a small blending brush to the Kevyn Aucoin ‘The Sculpting Powder in Medium’ and lightly run that through the crease. Finishing off with a bit of mascara and some MAC Coffee eyeliner on the upper waterline.
To bring in some colour to the look I like to opt for a slightly stronger lip – MAC’s Plumful is the perfect colour for fall, and perks up the complexion.
