Sali doesn’t embellish things, and the book may be hefty but a true beauty lover will enjoy it.From recollections about visiting counters in her youth to explaining why eye creams aren’t really a must, it’s a wonderful read that is written in a clear and relatable voice. Filled with some great photos, there are “chapters” for each beauty related thing from brows to anti-aging. Sali finished off the book with a great list of online resources for beauty concerns – mentioning Caroline Hirons, the PixieWoo sisters and Paula Begoun of Paula’s Choice Beutipedia and BaseNotes.
