Quick Review: Origins Retexturizing Mask With Rose Clay

Origins Rose Clay MaskWhen Origins launches a new mask you can bet that I’ll be trying it out. If it’s a mask that promises to retexturize the skin, brighten and shrink pores whilst leaving a smoother complexion it’s pretty much guaranteed that I’ll be slathering in on my face. Is this one worth it? Let me tell you.

In one word – yes! It’s worth it. I’d also say that it’s a great mask to start out with, it’s a little bit of everything. The mask has some exfoliating particles in it so when you’ve washed it off you’ll get a bit of slough off in. It’s a bit brightening, mostly due to the exfoliation – and that means you’re left with a silky smooth complexion that just looks better.
Unlike most clay masks it isn’t stripping or drying, I wouldn’t say hydrating but it’s a mask that you can use during the morning if you’ve got the time and want a bit of pep in your step, err skin. It’s got that little bit of cleansing and purifying from the clay which is still great for more congested skins. This mask really shrinks down pores which would make it amazing for a pre-event pamper session. It’s also got a super pleasant scent which is forever a plus.
Application is simple, slather a thin layer of the mask onto your face. Let it dry for 10 minutes or so and then rinse it off, using circular motions to lather it up and exfoliate using the jojoba beads. Pat face dry and… You’ve got glowing skin with less pore action, that’s nice and smooth.

You can get this mask at Origins counters, at Sephora or LookFantastic or Feelunique Online

Have you tried this mask yet? What did you think – let me know in the comments!

  • I’ve been wanting to try this mask! I’m all for clay masks, and any skincare product that contains the word rose in it is a must have for me. I’m glad it’s worth the money!
