Somehow September ended, these are all the best bits of the month. A little bit of skincare, a surprising blush find and my all time favourite candle from Diptyque all made the cut. Want a bit more detail? Keep readin’
For my hair it’s been falling back in love with the Paul Mitchell Smoothing Super Skinny Serum, it makes blow drying hair easier and leaves you with smooth, shiny hair. I’ve been burning the Diptyque Feu de Bois Candle all month and will keep this practice up until the world ends, it’s my all time favourite scent with it’s warm smokey-ness. The standout from my skincare this month has been the Superfacialist by Una Brennan Vitamin C+ Skin Renew Cleansing Oil as it can take anything off easily and leaves things nice and nourished, but also does double duty as a morning cleanser with it’s fresh citrus scent. A surprising find was the REN Vita Mineral Lip Balm which does an excellent job at moisturising the lips with it’s vitamin e formula. The Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Polish in Pit Stop has been my go to nail polish shade for transitioning from the summer to the fall nice and easy, the colour is a great neutral and the formula is great even if it needs a top coat for that extra kick of shine. For an awesome base that’s been spot on for the warm weather we’ve been having the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream in 02 Vanilla and a bit of the Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual Skin Enhancer in SX05 have had me covered (excuse the lame pun). A friend gifted me an unwanted Benefit Dandelion Box o’Powder Blush and while I do hate the packaging the product itself is great, brightening and neutral with a hint of a sheen for a perked up complexion. The greatest shadow discovery ever for me is the Burberry Wet & Dry Silk Shadow in Rosewood this is the ultimate one wash wonder for the lids, it gives definition and a little something with minimal effort. Lastly there’s the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Lost Cherry, with it’s amazing formula and unique colour. This gives your face that extra oomph a bright lipstick does without the fuss of one, it matches well with a low-key eye or with some extra smokey smudgey eyes.
