Chanel Les Beige Healthy Glow Sheer Color Stick in N20

It’s mid December and winter? Its in full swing. You know what else is in full swing? My pale complexion. To warm up my skin and make sure I look alive I reach for the one bronzer that’s sure to give me a sunned glow – Chanel Les Beige Healthy Glow Stick N20.

Now, I’m not a bronzer girl at all. Things can get very muddy very quick, and finding one that works on a very light skin tone is hard. No one likes an orange tint to their skin (except some politicians) and the majority of what’s out there does that to varying degrees. It’s not a cool toned bronzer by any means but the point of a bronzer isn’t to sculpt but rather warm up the complexion.

Next to my favoured bronzers it’s the warmest and reddest of the bunch – but fear not! While it’s very much a warm bronzer it pulls red rather than orange making you look flushed with the heat of the sun. This is the type of bronzer that gives you a glow, thanks to a creamy formula and a hint of shimmer woven in. It applies super smooth and blends like a cream-dream but doesn’t slip and slide as it sets to a powder.

I love to apply the Healthy Glow Stick N20 all year round – but now that it’s winter this one is out in full force. Apply it to the temples (lightly!), run along the cheeks and across the bridge of the nose for that Ski/Sunglasses tan that’ll confuse people as to where on earth you’ve just vacation.

Also – the Chanel packaging? A total perk.

  • This is a really pretty shade, a bit on the pricy side but I like how this will warm up the complexion without looking so orange.
