It seems like the online shopping world only keeps getting better. The never ending plethora of products on offer serves to keep tempting me with innovative skincare and nice smelling things. So, instead of loading up my cart and making my checking account weep I’ll share it all with you. Call it mutual assured destruction.
The bane of my online beauty loving existence. There’s the greatest selection of products available with a bit of Soko and western innovation, high and low. Let’s be honest – I’m partial to the higher end of the spectrum. I like to casually browse the New In section to find things that may pique my interest. Here are four. Thank You Farmer’s Back to Relax Soothing Gel Mask is both from a new brand and a mask. It’s also Korean so I’m sure the moisture levels will be beyond and my skin will adore every slather of this stuff. Pixi’s Glow-02 Oxygen Mask comes in a pump which is a key factor here. It’s also a mask with the aim of boosting radiance and delivering some much needed oxygen to your skin, count me in. Charlotte Tilbury’s Legendary Brows isn’t a new product – but it is new on Cult Beauty, and thus it’s become available to me because the official site doesn’t ship to my country. Regardless, any brow product is a product I’d like to try especially if it can make them extra fluffy. Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum is not new on my wishlist, but with a whopping £150 price tag it’s staying on my list. I’ve heard that this is amazing and cannot wait to try this oily goodness.
Oh, Space.NK where I can stock up on my Diptyque and Byredo candles and feel a relatively moderate amount of guilt. I have a thing for candles okay? We won’t get into this now. With so many brands and products on offer there’s always something to tempt me. I’ll start with the obvious, Byredo’s Burning Rose Candle because I’m having a rose moment for some reason and want to scent my home with the stuff. Hourglass’s Vanish Foundation Stick is a very interesting product with the entirety of the internet talking about it, it’s coverage and finish its a little hard to ignore. The only thing that needs to happen is that my shade will come back in stock. Laura Mercier’s Candleglow Sheer Perfecting Powder I’m not a big powder fan but this has my interested, will it beat my love for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders? Only a good trial will tell, guess I should order it sometime. Diptyque’s Roses Candle rounds out this wishful thinking list since as before I’m a little rose crazy and Diptyque can do no wrong.
Asos stocks far more than just awesome clothes. They’ve got a pretty hefty beauty section with some very interesting brands. At the top of my list of “interesting” things is DECIEM’s The Ordinary because if it’s good the price point makes it amazing. There’s the The Ordinary Matrixyl 10% + HA 30ml which claims to be a day or night anti-aging serum which will reduce the signs of aging, at 26 I’m keen on anything that’ll slow down this age thing. The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA 30ml is another serum that can be used in the day or night and based on the description it is best suited for fading pigmentation and spot marks. With post acne scarring and hyper pigmentation being one of my main concerns this seems very promising. Stila’s Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Kitten Karma is everything I love which is to say it’s a jam packed neutral glitter shadow. Based on the online swatches it’s super pigmented and chock full of glittery goodness, let me spread you on my eyelids please. Sister & Co Raw Coconut & Activated Charcoal Sugar Scrub is something I’m sure I will love to hate, it’s a scrub which I adore but it contains coconut which I hate the smell of. Oh, it’s also sure to leave my sink gross and dirty but the promise of inflammatory fighting ingredients has got me curious.
